I'm a junior at UAlbany doing my undergrad. I'm a Homeland Security major with a History minor.
In terms of history related skills, I think I'm good at research and analysis.
I'd like to improve my writing skills as well as communication.
What I'd like to get out of this course is more exposure and experience in the history field, as well as humanities as a whole. This is only the second history course I've taken in college and I feel like I don't know very much, especially when compared to the graduate students.
That's okay though, because I've learned that you're better off comparing youself to where you started then to where others are now. I'm positive that by the end of the semester I'll know a lot more than I do now!
